AI is being used to generate news articles, marketing emails, and other forms of content, replacing some of the work that traditionally was done by journalists and marketers. CNET, a tech news outlet, has already published 73 AI-generated articles, and other companies are also implementing this technology. AI-generated content is being fact-checked and edited by an editor on the editorial staff, while marketers can refine or expand the content as well. Despite Google’s vow to penalize AI-generated content last year, some of these articles appear to be pulling in large amounts of traffic.
